I'm a policy advisor and data scientist. As a policy advisor, I provide advice to public institutions on how to respond to technology's influence on society, the economy and the state. As a data scientist, I analyze datasets for trends and predictions, looking particularly for business and policy insights.
I'm employed by City of Toronto Information and Technology, where I work on special projects for their executive team. This has included the drafting and implementation of the City's first digital infrastructure plan, and creation of an internet access program, ConnectTO. Prior to this, I helped start the first Digital Government initiative in Canada, which became the Ontario Digital Service, and cofounded their policy team.
